By now you have enjoyed the January blog hop and been inspired by the gorgeous "Vineyard" kit put together by our Swirly Queen. I hear that some of you are even lovingly petting your kits. I look forward to seeing some beauties from you soon!
Here are a few more creations from the frigid Midwest. While on a quest for new floors, we spent the night at my sister's house before heading back home. Of course, my sister and I had to fit in some sort of crafting if not down right scrapping. We settled for altering a wine bottle. Both of us had pinned various twine covered bottles on Pinterest so we figured we could come up with something we liked.
So, we started with a clean, label-free wine bottle, some twine, and Mod Podge. It was a lot of fun.
I added some flowers from our ki,t as well as the colored twine from the main kit, a Prima chippie, and a Prima butterfly.
We found a YouTube vid for this twine flower. I just popped a Prima chippie in the center.
Ok, now back to scrapping!
My husband's friend, Josh, saw my scrap room and was impressed with my pages. He gave my husband some pictures and asked him to give them to me to scrap. So, these next two pages are for Josh.

I had to cheat on this one. I picked a piece of Blue Fern paper from an older Swirlydoos kit for the background. It just seemed perfect for the sweet picture of Josh and his sweetheart. Lots of Prima chippies and flowers on this one. I added the "today" acetate piece from my stash.

Happy Saturday! I hope you enjoyed our reveal of the Vineyard kit this week. This kit is so striking and I was so amazed at the inspiring design team projects! I can't wait to see what YOU do with the kit! Last week, I shared part one of my projects using the Vineyard kit, which is a mini album.
In part one, I shared how I created the cover and prepped the inside with paint I made with the mica powder from the mediums add on. If you didn't get a chance to see it, watch it first:
Today, I am sharing the rest of the mini album. Mini albums are VERY time consuming, so I have highlighted how I did the interactive parts of the album in the video because those aspects can be difficult to capture in photos.

Congratulations to Dolores for LOTW with this sparkly layout celebrating the New Year.

Hi everyone. It's 2016 and there are tons of great challenges happening on the forum to get your new year creativity started.
The Sketch Challenge for the current kit - All that glitters is a great challenge. it's always fun using a sketch as inspiration.

Happy New Year!
I am pleased to share with you the first "Layout of the Week" for 2016!
This one goes to Peggy for her entry in the Project Life challenge hosted by our own Design Team member, Cindy.
I just love all the little details on her cards. Like Peggy said-this is a great way to use your scraps. Peggy did not have any of the page protectors for the Project Life cards so she attached her cards to a sheet of black card stock. Great work, Peggy. Congratulations!
