Here are some examples of how you can use them:
Take a look at how Camilla used one in the middle of the bow- such a sweet detail!
And, here's an example of Lisa G using them as flower centers:

The Happy Wanderer

I love to go a-wandering,
Along the mountain track,
And as I go, I love to sing,
My knapsack on my back.

Val-dera-ha-ha- ha-ha-ha
My knapsack on my back.

I love to wander by the stream
That dances in the sun,
So joyously it calls to me,
"Come! Join my happy song!"

I wave my hat to all I meet,
And they wave back to me,
And blackbirds call so loud and sweet
From ev'ry green wood tree.

High overhead, the skylarks wing,
They never rest at home
But just like me, they love to sing,
As o'er the world we roam.

Oh, may I go a-wandering
Until the day I die!
Oh, may I always laugh and sing,
Beneath God's clear blue sky!

Kathi is our happy little wanderer. She has been all around the world, and in her travels, she takes the most beautiful photo's. Kathi can scrap a travel photo like no other!! We see a hint of Tim Holtz Grunge in this LO, Kathi Style of course. Love the corrugated cardboard that mimics stucco. Love the embossed hinges with brads that look like rivets. If you don't have the embossed Timmy grunge board, you could always use embossing folders with plain grunge board or chip board. The small area of corset lacing is wonderful as well as the Dusty Attic flourish that pulls the whole page together. Beautiful job Kathi!! We love this one!!

There’s no one else like you. You truly are unique.
The thoughts inside your head and the words inside your speak.
Only you and no one else could ever be so rare.
Not a soul in the whole wide world can quite compare.
Remarkable and special, specific peerless too
Un-repeated and exclusive, distinctive that is you
But here’s the thing (and I sure hope you know I mean in fun)
Yes, you are unique of course, but so is everyone!

This week, we bring to you a beautiful gallery find!! Pala (gallery name) has created a darling layout using some wonderfully creative techniques. First that drew our attention to this layout was the use of photo fussy cutting, creating that "Out Of Bounds" look that our talented Heidi uses so often. Looks like Ashley is stepping right out of the frame, and that is an awesome creative illusion created with a simple scissor snip and just the right placement!! Then there is a frame with in a frame for the main photo of Ashley. It puts the focus on what the subject is doing. The beautiful butterflies fluttering around creates that gorgeous garden look that we all love. Love the key behind the curled paper. It almost appears as if Ashley is looking for that key to unlock the doors to the Secret Garden. So beautiful!! Great work on this one!! Please introduce your self as we would love to meet the creator of this layout!!

Hi everyone. Hope you are all having a fabulous week.

Today I am going to share with you a card I made using some goodies from the technique kit this month. I did use the most recent card sketch. You can find the details here.

I used some Prima Tea Thyme paper. For the challenge you had to use prima packaging and lace. I used some lace scraps I had laying around and I had this clear Prima packaging. The sentiment is a wood stamp from the craft store. I used some Kaisercraft flowers found in the main kit.

I used a kaisercraft frame, pearls and the other prima trinket. I used some Lindys Magicals that were in last months kit to color the frame and bird.

Hope you enjoy the video.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Thanks for stopping by.

A First Communion Blessing

May you always feel
as close to Jesus
as you do today.
May you always
count on Him
to gently guide you
on your way.
May you always
trust in God
to answer every
single prayer.
May you always feel
Him blessing you
with tender, loving care.

This week we bring to you a beautiful heritage layout by Lisa. The photo is of her mom from her 1st communion. The photo was take in the early 1930's. Gorgeous!! So so classy. Look at the sweet bows on her shoes. Wish I lived back then. Fashion was so unique and beautiful!! To reflect the feminine look of the photo, Lisa adorned her layout with everything girly and pink. The Paper Doll kit is perfect to achieve this. The touch of lace and pearls is perfect. And look at Lisa's handmade flower. Wow...Impressive. It rivals any store bought flower we have seen. The layering, fussy cutting, stamping and torn edges just bring the whole layout together. We love it Lisa. Great job!!
