Hey Savages, Kim here.
I can't tell you how much I love this December kit! The colors are
amazing and I love that they are non-traditional holiday colors! I've made a couple more projects with it, and I'm sharing them
today.
My first layout is of my niece. We see the Nutcracker and they had these cut outs where you could put your face in them. So my niece became a sugar plum fairy. I had to alter the colors a bit, but I love the end result.
I did a little masking in the background and some light stamping with a snowflake stamp. I placed gems in the center of the stamps. I covered the chippie with the glitter glue then added some of the turquoise paint. Lots of flowers brought the layout together.

Next
up is another layout from my day with my nieces. This photo was taken before we left the house. My nieces dress was silver and sparkly. Perfect for this kit.
I used the mask from the kit for the big snowflake in the background. Added some paper layers behind the photo and fussy cut out some of the ornaments. I layered some of the sticker boarders and bling strip under my photo, topped it off with some flowers and done.

Wow! Can you believe it is December?! Where has 2015 gone? Has your mojo flown away like 2015? If you need some inspiration this busy month then check out the Swirlydoos forums for some great challenges.

Journal. It started out as a plain kraft colored journal. With the help
of a few flowers, a sheet of canvas paper, a piece of chipboard and lots
of mixed media, it morphed into this.

Hey Savages, Kim here.
I have loved working with the Scarlet Elegance kit! The colors are
amazing! I've made a couple more projects with it, and I'm sharing them
today.
I started with a masculine layout. The colors in this kit may lead you to more feminine layouts, so I wanted to go in a different direction. I used the darker colors to make it more masculine.
I added a few pieces from my stash to add a bit more texture to it. The burlap flowers, metal, chipboard chicken wire and the burlap ribbon. I also used some silver texture paste to do some masking.
Next up is a little bit of everything layout. I used the mica from the mixed media add-on, the oil pastels from the project add-on.I used them for the background and to alter the flowers. I even used the die of the month.
I did some random stamping on the background and then just layered everything on. I had lots of fun creating this layout.
I hope you have had as much fun creating with this kit and the add-ons as I did. It was such a versatile kit to use.

The moment I saw this darling photo of a friend’s great granddaughters I was salivating to scrap it.
A girly themed round robin, Barbara Pollack gorgeous fairly tale original design and Cheryl Merrihew lovely layout as an example to follow….the perfect combination to let me scrap the pic exactly as I wanted it.
