TRIANGLE, RED, GOLD, GREEN, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Your Assignment:
Create a GIFTBOX incorporating: a triangle,

so again, your assignment is to create a GIFTBOX using:
TRIANGLE, RED, GOLD, GREEN & MERRY CHRISTMAS!
For this box, I used Kaisercraft PP from their Christmas Carol Collection, some laces and trims from my stash and from our Decemeber kit, Prima Marketing Resin piece, Petaloo Berries,
and a ribbon with the Merry Christmas sentiment.

Your Assignment: Make a Tealight Christmas Card in traditional Christmas colors (red & green) and include a doily (or lace) and a bird!
Here's what I made for your inspiration:

12 Days Contest Post Day One Below!
And, our layout of the week is "buffet" by Jette!
When I saw this beautiful layout in the gallery, I couldn't stop looking at it! I LOVE the colors! The double banners give it such a unique look, and the stenciling peeking behind the picture really draws your eye to the pic. I also love the delicate gems, placed perfectly! Congrats, Jette!
Good morning! Welcome to day one of our "12 Days of Christmas Contest"! This contest is open to EVERYONE, using any supplies. For the next twelve days, our designers are going to give you an assignment to complete. We have tags, bags, boxes, and some other projects to share with you as examples for the assignments. Our plan is to post these assignments EARLY (4 am, EST), so you have time to complete the project. All projects are due by Midnight, EST the day the project is posted to the Swirlydoos Contest Gallery. We will also be chatting about the contest on our boards in the "Contests" section, so join us there!
Let's get started!
DAY ONE: RED, SANTA, METAL! Tag
Your Assignment: Create a TAG incorporating the color red, an image of Santa, and a piece of metal. You may add more colors and elements, if you wish.
Your tag does not need to look anything like this. All you need is the red, Santa, and metal, If your Santa is wearing red, then you don't need to put any more red, unless you want too. :)
For this tag, I used the Tim Holtz tag and tie die, and the frame and banner are also Tim Holtz sizzlits and stamp set. The metal is also from Timmy. My paper is from IOD, and the berries and flower are Petaloo. The holly trim is May Arts. The bingo number and the trim on the bottom are just from my stash- I can't remember where I got them!
Make your tag, and upload it to the gallery in the contest section by midnight (EST), TONIGHT! The winner will be posted later in the day. Good luck, and have fun!!!!!
