Congratulations to Linda for this 30 minute beauty!
Yes, she created this splat-tabulous layout for the January Swirly Girl Challenge. Just goes to show you that you don't have to have hours of time to scrap. You can create in only 30 minutes as Linda did with this wonderful layout. I love all the splats of color, flowers, bling, and her fussy cut pieces.
Congrats, Linda!

Hey Savages, Kim here.
I can't tell you how much I love Swirlydoos kits! Every time I get one I say it's my favorite, January was no exception! I've made a couple more projects with it, and I'm sharing them
today.
My
first layout is of our goddaughter. She was dressed in all white and accents of purple for her Quinceanera. This picture went so well with the purples in the Royal Menagerie papers. I primed the chippie with gesso and then dry brushed some purple mica powder on it
There are lots of layers under the photo and I snuck into my flower stash for the purple flowers. The vine and white flower are from the kit as are the rest of the embellishments . I love how this turned out, it's uncomplicated, but not too simple for my taste.

Next
up is a masculine layout I created using the 7 Dots papers. I created this for the & Dots monthly challenge Industrial is the theme. Did I get it right?
This is a photo of my dh on Halloween, we were dressed as Bonnie and Clyde, LOL.
I did a lot of masking and stamping for the background. I also used a lot of metals from my stash for this. I used a mold from a previous kit to make the clock embellishment.

I hope you have had as much fun creating with this kit and the add-ons as I did. It was such a fun kit to use.

Hello everyone! I'm here today to share with you my second reveal projects using the January Kit, Vineyard. And a tutorial as promised showing you how to make the cracked glass vellum butterflies.
Here is the butterfly and the layout I used it on from 1st reveal! You can find the tutorial on Snapguide. I hope you give it a try!
I really loved this kit because it has really bright papers. I decided to use a bright green with a lighter pink. I used some chipboard from the Dusty Attic Special Order. A perk for being a subscriber!
For my next project I made a reverse canvas for a shadow box effect. I used a Dusty Attic piece for the inside and layering upward with a Prima resin piece. On top of that I used the Creative Embellishment Chippy to have focus on the Prima piece.

Hi everyone, here are two more layouts made with the amazing Swirlydoos Kit Clubs January Kit Vineyard. This kit is beautiful this month with tons of Prima and 7 Dots Studio Products.
Be Happy
I've always loved this photo, it's of my hubby and daughter taking a selfie when they were out one day. They both aren't looking at the camera and it always makes me smile :D
I've used the 7 Dots Thoughts Keeper paper for this layout, the background piece is No 1. Then I used No 3 and No 5 along with the dictionary velum to layer under my photo.
On the background I used the Prima doily stencil from the Mediums add on with modeling paste. I sprayed on some light teal mists to add a little colour.
With the creative embellishments frame I first coated it with white gesso before I coloured it with Prima mica powder in teal
For embellishing I have used the Petaloo vintage velvet flowers in white and teal from the Flower add on kit as well as the Prima Royal Menagerie flowers. Plus I added a couple of white roses from my stash. I have also used the Prima Garden Fable butterflies and Metal trinkets.
The title Be Happy is from the Prima Royal Menagerie wood icons and chipboard pieces from the Main kit. And to finish off I added some of the baby blue pearls and Prima sequins
Hello
I have used the Prima Royal Menagerie papers on this layout, the background piece is Saltwater. then I layered some pieces I cut from the Queen For A Day paper under my photo.
I mixed the Purple mica powder from the Medium add on kit with some modeling paste and used it through the Prima Doily stencil from the same add on kit. Then I flicked on some splatters using the Tim Holtz Splatter brush
I coloured the Prima Archivist Casts with purple and pink mica to help them match my LO better, I also did the same to the Dusty Attic Flourish pieces.
To embellish I used pieces from the Royal Menagerie Chipboard and more pack and the wood icons. Plus loads of the Royal Menagerie flowers.
To finish off I added Lavender pearls and silver rhinestones.

By now you have enjoyed the January blog hop and been inspired by the gorgeous "Vineyard" kit put together by our Swirly Queen. I hear that some of you are even lovingly petting your kits. I look forward to seeing some beauties from you soon!
Here are a few more creations from the frigid Midwest. While on a quest for new floors, we spent the night at my sister's house before heading back home. Of course, my sister and I had to fit in some sort of crafting if not down right scrapping. We settled for altering a wine bottle. Both of us had pinned various twine covered bottles on Pinterest so we figured we could come up with something we liked.
So, we started with a clean, label-free wine bottle, some twine, and Mod Podge. It was a lot of fun.
I added some flowers from our ki,t as well as the colored twine from the main kit, a Prima chippie, and a Prima butterfly.
We found a YouTube vid for this twine flower. I just popped a Prima chippie in the center.
Ok, now back to scrapping!
My husband's friend, Josh, saw my scrap room and was impressed with my pages. He gave my husband some pictures and asked him to give them to me to scrap. So, these next two pages are for Josh.
Close-up of the chippie treatment and flower cluster.
I had to cheat on this one. I picked a piece of Blue Fern paper from an older Swirlydoos kit for the background. It just seemed perfect for the sweet picture of Josh and his sweetheart. Lots of Prima chippies and flowers on this one. I added the "today" acetate piece from my stash.
These are Design Team projects I created for Swirlydoos Scrapbook Kit Club.
