Swirlydoos News - Friday Edition

Happy Friday!!!!

I, for one, am beyond relieved that the end of the week is finally here.   I hope you all had a fabulous week.  Here is a recap of the savagery that has taken place on the Swirlydoos forum:
  • There is going to be a Swirlydoos Workshop at CHA in Chicago with some real heavyweights in the industry; Ingvild Bolme and Marion Smith!  Check out the right-side tool bar and click on the image to learn more about the workshop.  Seating is limited so you need to hurry!
  • The final prizes were awarded from our NSD celebration.  Peggy won the Tutto Tote!!!! What an awesome prize.  Hey...Peggy, better keep a savage grip on that tote 'cuz Jen has been working over the heavy bag and has mastered the art of the hip check.  Just sayin'...  Also Erica won the Inpiration Challenge and got a smoking prize pack full of Glitz product.  Congratulations ladies~
  • We are in the middle of a few challenges right now.  We have our monthly Round Robin, the monthly kit sketch challenge, Angelica's Butterfly challenge and 2 Swirly Girls challenges that are hosted by our savage members.  Click here to see the challenge thread.
  • Some of you may be aware of the Adventures of Escape Kitty, well now we have two *ahem* alter egos to add; L'il Mimi and Big Mimi.  Don't even ask.......LOL  Wanna know more?  Grab a cup 'o whatever and come and join the conversation.  We have the craziest and funniest members on the web. 
  • Lisa G is going to do another Ustream video this Saturday at Noon on the Swirlydoos Ustream Channel.  She will be doing the Paper Bag Album, Part 2.  Make sure you come and join the crowd!

Sooo looking forward to Lisa's video tute!!!!
As for Jen, I plan on bringing strands of lace and ribbon to distract her, LOL!!!!
