I love her clusters with the fiber running through it. Love her layers, too. And, she has some journaling on the layout that really makes this a special layout as her daughter is riding Duchess for the last time before moving ten hours away.

This tutorial is a step by step on how I decorated my shadow box from the July project add-on kit.

I used the emebellishments from the kit and added a few of my own to take it over the top. A lot of the items I used can be purchased in the Swirlydoos Boutique.

Hello Again,

I'm here with the second part of my reveal for the July 'Moments Captured' kit at Swirlydoos Scrapbook kit club. This beautiful kit features papers from Kaisercraft StoryBook, Provincial and Pion Papers Mister Tom's Treasures. The colour palette of this kit is shades of Teal mixed in with browns, beiges and grey.

Masculine Layout

In my last reveal I shared with you some 'Swirly' flowery layouts but today I want to show you how the kit also works for masculine layouts too!

OTP - Memo Board

Next up is an Off The Page Project (OTP).
We had a piece of plywood in the Mediums kit Add On and I decided to make mine into a blackboard Memo Board. I used a piece of 12x12 Chalkboard Paper to cover my board but equally you could paint the plywood with Blackboard paint.

Typically I open my kit, oooh and aaaah, then I start on the sketch challenge. So, let me share my interpretation of the beautiful July sketch with you. Shhhhh! It's a wedding gift for my husband's nephew. The wedding is this Saturday so don't tell! I Facebook stalked the lovely soon-to-be newlyweds and found their engagement photos to scrap.

There is some random "Congratulations!" stamping on the background. Then, I did some embossing with the Dusty Attic "Heart Attack" stencil and white embossing paste.  The photo mat was cut using a Spellbinders die. The vines were my latest "mooost" have after borrowing Kathi's die at camp. It's a Poppystamps die called Monterey Vine. I used white cardstock and then misted with Color Bloom in Lime Wedge. I added some Tim Holtz Hearts from a past kit and some swirly bling from my stash. Oh, the filmstrip was from a past kit, too. I just cut out the images in the center so I could add my own photos instead.

Now, I loved the "Swirly Girl Challenge" aka SGC again this month. It is hosted by a different Swirlydoos member each month so you never know how you will be challenged!

The front of the card has a "waterfall" feature.  And, here's a video to show you how it opens.

I love how Ann has used the Moments Captured kit to create her layout for this months sketch challenge. She has done some great distressing and created the most gorgeous flower cluster with the die cut leaves, crystal swirls and those lovely big blue flowers! A little spritzing and a very happy photo make this a worthy winner this week!
