Hey Savages, can you believe it's September already? I know, where did the year go? I don't even want to think about it yet, but the holidays will soon be here, along with the cold and snow. The one good thing about the winter months, more time to scrapbook. What's scrapbooking with out a few challenges?
We've got plenty of them going on over on the forum. The *Wistful Blues* sketch challenge is open until September 15th. If you haven't seen the gorgeous sketch, here it is:
here are some of the entries for this challenge:
Next, we have our monthly butterfly/dragonfly challenge hosted by Angelica. This challenge gives us swirly girls the opportunity to show off our love of all things butterfly/dragonfly.
Each month Angelica post an amazing inspirational layout to get us all started. Check out this months inspirational piece.
Here is a beautiful entry into this challenge.
You do have to be a kit subscriber to join this challenge. Never fear though, becoming a subscriber is easy. Just go here to join, don't forget to mention my name for new subscribers goodies.
The next challenge up is our monthly SGC (Swirly Girl Challenge). This challenge is hosted by a different member each month. They get to set ALL the rules. Septembers challenge is being hosted by Barbara (Palapala). Barbara decided to do a chandelier challenge. Come check out her rules here.
Barbara posted this amazing layout as an example for her challenge.

I hope you are still with me, because we have a couple more challenges going on. Told you, there is a lot happening over on the forums.
After taking a summer break, our Card Round Robin is back for September. Sign ups have been taken and we are eagerly awaiting the posting of week 1 cards. We do have one savage who works at the speed of light and has already posted a sneak peek of her card. Check it out.
Maggi
Last, but definitely not least the Cock challenge. We have several ladies that are obsessed with Roosters and Hens, so Maggi is hosting this challenge. Her rules are simple. Just post any project (tag, layout, off the page, card, you dream it up and I'm good with it) you create that has a cock or a hen on it. For an added twist, you have to use the following quote on your project, "The rooster may crow, but the hen delivers the goods!"
Maggi created this stunning tag for inspiration.
This challenge is open to all Rooster and Hen lovers.
Whew, you have now been caught up on all the challenges over on the forums. Told you there was a lot going on.
Next month, along with our other challenges we will also see the return of our most coveted Layout Round Robin. Right now it's still enjoying summer break.
Thanks for stopping by Swirlydoos blog.
