What would Swirlydoos be without our wonderful subscribers?!? It's a pleasure getting to know these ladies on the forums and from the stories they tell through their layouts. Yes,we are an amazing community, but most of all, we're a family! We appreciate each and every member and they deserved to be spotlighted. With that being said, our featured member for September is.....
Paula Calvanico
Here is a bit from Paula:
I am so happy to be a featured member of Swirlydoos! A bit about me, I have been scrapping since 2005. The bug didn't bite me right away. Some gals at school were showing off their scrapbook albums and I just thought "ugh what work" Then one had a Creative Memories party and I bought some stamps, which I still have, and the rest is history as they say!
I love this hobby, I love everything about paper-crafting from the wonderfully kind and generous people who make up this art to all the different styles that now encompass it. I would say my style is a combo of shabby-chic and formal romance. Sometimes I get a little wild and go steampunky or grunge oh my! Lol.
I joined Swirlydoos kit club in April. I was a stalking researcher since about the holidays jumping all around to the various clubs trying to decide where I'd fit and I just found Swirlydoos to be that place. Everyone here is welcoming and uplifting. I'm glad to call myself a Swirly-Sistuh :)
