'Tis the season for goodwill unto others. This holiday season we would like to remind you of the hundreds of thousands of children who will not see a Christmas gift this year.
Please keep these kiddos in mind when you're doing your holiday shopping. Our family makes it a tradition to "adopt" a child in need every year and let our own children pick out the toys for our "adoptee." Won't you help a little one enjoy the magic of Christmas this year?
Our lucky #7, selected by a random number generator is...
Heather

Congrats Heather. Love the idea Krissy, its a great way to show our children how to look beyond their own Christmas Trees.
here is my tag. My daughter's 5th grade class adopted a 5th grade class from a title 1 school-we are putting this tag on the stocking we filled for a student in the class.

We have a Toys for Tots campaign starting tomorrow so perfect timing.
At a previous employer they had a campaign every year donate a new toy, get XXX. I would get so disheartened about what some people would try to pass off as new. Well one day a woman brought in a new toy along with an obviously not so new, but good conditioned set of toys. She said they were from her son, who when he heard what her new toy was for immediatly went to his room and brought out his favorite toy to give to someone without. I think about this every year and cry every time.
So, sniff-sniff - here is mine.

i forgot to mention it on this post but this tag will go one the gifts we made at our MOPS meeting last week (we made cool journals for kids and also birthday kits - to celebrate Christs birthday) it all goes to out local shelter.
The fun part is the my 4 year old son will be helping make the birthday kits (prizes, candy, stuff to make cake, icing, candles, etc) in his class. We all brought the items, he helped me collect them all - he gave away lots of his own toys for the cause, he was so cute when he did it.
so here is the tag again - we will put it on the Christs birthday box for the shelter

Hi Everyoone! Thanks to Maggi for telling me about your awesome blog and site!!! Every year my 2 boys and I donate gifts to our local fire station for kids in our community! We have been doing this for over 10 years now, and this year, even though the boys are 20 and 16, we still do it!
Here are a few tags I made today! Enjoy!!

I wish I could have gotten a better pic- it's brighter and shiny in real life.
I always donate to Toys for Tots, and I will put this on the gift on Friday, but they like the gift to be unwrapped, so I hope it makes it to the kiddo!
