Sometimes there is a special photo that tells a story and conjures up wonderful memories. This weeks beautiful LOTW was created by Denise Jensen (keebler). Denise has created some awesome LO's with our kits, but this one is exceptional. The photo is of Denise and her son when he was about 3 weeks old (he is 18 now). It just shows the love that a mother has for her child. The serene moment when all is good with the world. The innocence is still there and you dream and hope at that time, that it will always be there. A mothers love for her child is something that no one could ever take away. It is just that great. And Denise has chosen the words to a song that perfectly reflect how she felt at the very moment the photo was taken..Perfect harmony...Here are the words to the song "In My Arms", from the beautiful Christian singer Plumb..
Your baby blues
So full of wonder
Your curly cues
Your contagious smile.
And as I watch
You start to grow up
All I can do is hold you tight
Knowing..
Clouds will rage
And storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms
Story books full of fairy tales
Of kings and queens and the bluest skies
My heart is torn just in knowing
You'll someday see the truth from lies
Knowing clouds will rage
And storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms
Castles they might crumble
Dreams may not come true
But you are never all alone
Because I will always
Always love you
Thank you Denise for sharing such an intimate part of your life...We love all of your special touches. Like the double matted photo. Very creative. And the way you presented the journaling..Like an old page map. And the colors are just so soft and earthy..True to the beginnings of life...We just love it!!
