My own Grandmother turned 96 this year...Preserving the memories of the ones that came before us is a wonderful thing. Peggy Giovanetti's (m4gnj) LO of her Aunt Dorothy is our pick this week . Isn't she just precious!! 90 years young...The picture was taken during her birthday celebration in July when everyone was able to get together. Beautiful...Peggy did the LO for Megs Round Robin Challenge this month. She created the beautiful flower using the paper bag tutorial I did and can be found in the tutorial section. The inking is beyond beautiful and goes so well with the theme of the LO. It gives it such an elegant vintage look. The soft colors round out the paper distressing and just softens everything up. Rather than using rubz on the DA (she said she was chicken), she painted, inked and stamped it. Love the look!! It makes the piece unique.
Peggy, it is so wonderful that Aunt Dorothy is still with all of you. I hope she saw this LO. It is just incredible.
xoxox to Aunt Dorothy, God Bless her...
