The
ATF (All That Flutters) Challenge has always been my favorite and now it's even
more so because the hostess is ME!!!
We're
doing things a bit differently; our dates will coincide a bit more with our
actual kit releases and there will be a RAK given out at the end of each
Challenge to one lucky winner selected by random draw. Curious? I've posted all
of the details here in the Forum.
Cheryl
has created this beautiful layout featuring her DD and DGDs. I just love that
gorgeous cluster of flowers and the way that she used the Darice garden gate
that came in the main kit.
The
Round Robin is taking a well-deserved vacation. She assures us that she'll be

I am excited to share an OTP (off the page) video tutorial using the May technique add on from Swirlydoos. I used items from past and current kits, from the Swirlydoos store and my stash to complete this wall hanging.
Some close ups so you can see the texture created with the modeling paste and crackle medium.
The corrugated heart was part of the April main kit of the month.
What's really cool is the heavy door plate on the left tag perfectly counter balances the weight on the right side of the tag. Because of this, I can use the larger tag's hole to hang this on the wall and it will hang straight.

Today I am sharing an altered tag I made based of the sketch challenge at Swirlydoos Kit Club. The altered tag kit has these tags from Tim Holtz and they are big. A canvas in it's self. I choose to make this one a wall hanging with some pictures of the kids on there.
Based loosely off the sketch challenge.
Here is a video tutorial of the creative process:
I added lots of background details with many of the supplies that came in the various kits that are available. Including the stencils and pastes.
I love the texture that comes from the Ferro and to highlight with the various waxes and mediums that are available just make any piece stand out.
This kit has so much to work with, I cant wait to see what your take on the challenge is. Don't forget to load it in the Swirlydoos Kit Club Scrapbook Gallery

Saturday morning, Swirly Savages!
The
Spring Grunge Project Kit comes with two of the new (and incredible!) Tim Holtz Hardboard Tags. I've
created this piece of Home Decor with the larger tag, the backplate from the
Embellishment Add-On and a photo that I took last Summer in New Orleans' French
Quarter.
