Happy Saturday! I have a tutorial using the project add on kit to share with you today, and I'm also sharing the rest of my projects that I made with the Garden Romance kit, and walk you through how I used the kit.

I'm super lucky, because I always get my kit before anyone else: the perks of living a few miles away from the Swirly Queen! Once it's in my hands, I take everything out and hang it up on my "kit" carousel so I can see exactly what I have and GET STARTED playing as soon as I can!

I typically start with the sketch when I use the kit. BUT, this month was my turn to do the anatomy tutorial, and that is done using only the main kit, so I decided to do my tutorial page first, which you may have already seen on reveal day:

And you can check out the tutorial HERE.

For my next project, I used the sketch:

I recently celebrated my 38th birthday, and I'm feeling really awesome about a lot of things in my life and I wanted to commemorate that with a layout! I tried to do some journaling, but decided to just do that on the back.

I started out by doing some faux stitching around the large layer. It's one of my favorite techniques! That large paper layer is such a beautiful piece of paper, I couldn't cover it up. I love layers, but I really wanted to see as much of that paper as possible, so I kept this layout simple.

I used my Crafter's Workshop circle template on some grey cardstock for the large circle, insanely distressed it, and added some lace from my stash to tuck under the circle.

The flowers from the add on are just gorgeous, so I used a lot of them. I added some of the grey pearls to the center of the large flower. I also aded a few grey roses from my stash, and some chipboard swirls. The pearls are BoBunny from the embellishment add on. Here are a couple of closeups of the small details:

And you can see that beautiful pink dragonfly from Angelica's etsy shop!

When I finished the sketch page, I was in a layout making mood, so I moved on and made this one to hang in my daughter's bedroom:

I used a doily and some older Prima vines from my stash, tucking in the Martha Stewart berry stickers and flowers and rose leaves from the kit this month to make the flower cluster.

Here's a closeup of that and also a piece of chipboard that I bought when we had a Dusty Attic special order. I covered that with the rose gold Liquid Pearls from the embellishment add on.

In this closeup, you can see the chipboard title, also from the embellishment add on that I heat embossed with some shabby pink embossing powder. AND, look at that little fairy! It's also from Angelica's etsy shop. (Can you tell how much I LOVE her store?)

And, lastly, I made my acrylic box from the project add on this month:

And, I will let you see how I made that here in my video:
