Sometimes its hard to be a woman
Giving all your love to just one man
You'll have bad times
And he'll have good times
Doing things that you don't understand
But if you love him you'll forgive him
Even though he's hard to understand
And if you love him
Oh be proud of him
'Cause after all he's just a man
Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And tell the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man
Totally inspired by Anna Dabrowska's style, Andie just blows this one out of the ballpark with a rendition so gorgeous, it made us gasp...And she hasn't even taken the class with Anna yet!!! Oh but she will!!! She chose to scrap her husband because his birthday was in march. This is what Andie tells us about this gorgeous layout...
There is a ton of metal all over this LO. It's mostly covered with my goupy mixture.
Goupy mixture is a combo of acrylic modeling paste, gesso, and magical mica. The paste is actually transparent and resistant to ink when it dries so I mixed it with the gesso to give it some grit. I only have white gesso and didn't want anything bright on this LO so I mixed in the micas. Not the result I was expecting but still usable. The entire right side of the page is chipboard letters covered with my goupy mix (which contains gesso) and then topped with black velvet smooch spritz and accented with rub and buff. I also used espresso glimmer glamm over the letters on the far right.
The hidden journaling is a magnetic journal under the acrylic car. It's kind of personal but the gist is that we are still together today because of all his wonderful qualities, trustworthy, duty bound, loyal.
Wow girl. You put a lot of LOVE into this piece of art!!! We love it!! You can visit Andie's Blog for more inspiration...
